Broc/Cauliflower Salad

This recipe was in one of the last emails sent by Joyce,
on January 11, nine days before she died. It is posted exactly as she sent it
because it typifies her style -- straightforward, carefree, less concerned
about form than the real objective, communicating with classmates.



Broc/Cauliflower salad
 
finely chop
1 bunch broccoli flourets chopped finely
1 bunch Cauliflower chopped
red onion finely chopped
1/2 lb bacon fried and crumbleed
1/2 cup raisins
 
Now here is the good part\Dressing
1 cup mayo
2 T. white vinegar
1?4 cup sugar
Mil and pour over salad to marinate.
 
Last nite wse used double batch of dressing and craisins as I did not have raisins.  reg and Tuesday cup up the culi and onions and did not cut it up fine, but a little extra dressing made it good.  Made a green tupperbowlfull
