I am pretty sure this is her recipe. She and my mother were very close all their lives. If not, it is a good recipe. My children love it.

Juanita Swafford's Buttermilk Pie Recipe

 3 Eggs
3/4 C sugar
3 Tablespoons flour
Pinch of salt
1/4 stick Butter
1/2 C Buttermilk (can substitute tsp of vinegar to reg. milk in emergency)
1 tsp vanilla

 

Beat eggs till frothy, then add sugar and flour mixture. Add milk, butter and vanilla
Pour in unbaked pie shell
Bake 30 to 45 minutes at 375 degrees
